Take-out boxes carry packs, turkey boxes or gable boxes – as they are widely known – are one of our most popular products. The crash lock base makes them very quick to assemble and pack, and the carry handle is both practical and stylish, resulting in a presentable-looking box.
Crash lock Base: This sounds technical but it’s a clever design feature where parts of the base have been cut, folded and glued in a way that allows the boxes to lay flat before use, but which can be erected in a matter of seconds, rather than minutes.
This is a great benefit where space is tight because the boxes don’t need to be pre-made before service and can be done as and when they are needed.
Carry Handles: We offer our carry packs with two different handle styles:
Gable Handle: Gable handles traditionally became very popular for boxes holding and transporting Christmas turkey orders. The handle allows you to push all 4 parts backwards, so you get very good access to the inside of the box for packing and unpacking. This is a great feature when used for Takeaway food, as it allows you to remove the containers without spilling any contents. We have two sizes available in this style.
Fold-Down Handle: The largest of the three carry cases has a fold-down handle style. We designed this to be a stackable box with the benefit of retaining a handle. The boxes can be stacked ready to be sent out plus they have been designed to fit on the back of a delivery motorbike, maximising space.
This version of our gable boxes has also been designed so that all the top flaps can be pulled out of the way when packing and unpacking, gaining good access to what’s inside.
Standard kraft gable boxes like these are very easy to customise. For quantities of 500 and over, you can get your gable boxes custom-printed. Just get in touch with the Packaging Supplies team for an instant quotation.
Top Tip: Not all gable boxes have to be printed, we can also make them to a particular size or even with reinforced single wall fluting, For example, we make many reinforced single wall boxes that are suitable for the freezer.

As soon as your goods leave our premises they are tracked until they reach your door!
We partner with DPD for a reason, they offer the most in flexibility and customer service features. Once your goods are picked up from our depot, you will be notified via either the email addressed you provided or by text message on the telephone number you provide during the order process.
On the day of delivery, you will be given a 1-hour delivery slot, this means that you do not need to be in all day like other couriers. Through the DPD app or website you are able to track the route and name of your driver.
Going to be out whilst the delivery is taking place? No Problem, you can either change the delivery address or even request it be delivered to a local pick up point or store. Many stores including Halfords and Sainsburys support DPD pick-ups.

Part-pallet or full pallet deliveries will be despatched through our pallet network or on our own vehicles. You will be notified by email when your delivery is being despatched, but will be unable to track it online. All pallet deliveries will be made between 8am - 6pm on the next working day.
Once your order has been placed a quote for delivery will be generated and you will be contact prior to despatch to make payment.
We aim to process and despatch orders for next business day delivery (subject to stock availability). But please allow 2-3 days for delivery.
Orders placed by 2pm Monday to Friday would normally be delivered next day (Sunday and bank holidays Excluded). Please note pallet deliveries can only be delivered on a working day with Saturdays excluded.
In the event that the product ordered is out of stock, the customer will be contacted with an estimated delivery date.
PLEASE NOTE ORDERS RECEIVED ON A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY, WILL BE PROCESSED ON MONDAY (BANK HOLIDAYS EXCLUDED) FOR THE NEXT AVAILABLE WORKING DAY.
Orders will not be processed during UK public bank holidays. Orders will be processed on the first working day back.

If you have received damaged or defective products, we apologise in advance. Please follow the guidelines below:

In the late 1970s, two friends and colleagues, Tim Allen and Stewart Middleton saw a gap in the market for a different type of packaging supplier. At the time, other businesses were selling custom made boxes and stocking packaging consumables, but Tim and Stewart wanted to offer more than that. They wanted to give their clients additional services, such as warehouse storage and the ability to have their packaging delivered as and when it was required. Packaging Supplies was established, and the rest is history.
