These 165x235mm compostable mailing bags are best suited for shipping light small, medium and large items. They’re the perfect alternative to plastic mailers — they have the same functionality without the environmental drawbacks of plastic-based packaging. Our mailers aren’t designed to last forever but are guaranteed to get your products from A to B safely, securely and sustainably.
If you’re using plastic mailing bags, our compostable mailers make it easy for your brand to transition to more environmentally friendly packaging. They make a worthy addition to any packaging operation thanks to their versatility and ease of use. They’re supplied with a detachable peel-and-seal closure for easy packing and unpacking (this must be removed before composting).
Peel and seal: The adhesive strip applied to these bags makes it quick and easy to secure your shipments.
Printed: These black mailing bags are printed with eco-friendly water-based inks. The printed message shouts loud and clear about their environmental credentials so all your customers know you’re choosing sustainable packaging.
Storage: These compostable mailing bags can be stored in cartons in a cool, dry warehouse for approximately one year. The recommended storage temperature range is 10-40°C. It is advisable to avoid storing these bags in high temperatures, direct sunlight or a humid environment.
Our eco-friendly mailing bags stay true to their word — they don’t last forever. Our mailing bags are made from PBAT and PLA derived from cornstarch. These natural compounds are commonly used to create 100% compostable and biodegradable materials. They can be composted in a home environment and a commercial facility (except for the peel and seal strip, which must be removed). In an ideal composting environment, they will biodegrade completely within 90 days. The process will take approximately six months in an ordinary or microbial environment, such as buried in soil.

Yes, we offer our compostable mailing bags in four sizes:
Each is available in quantities from 1,000 units to half pallets of 10,000 units or more.
We can offer a suite of Complete Packaging Services, including inventory management and third-party logistics (3PL). If you’re looking to order larger volumes than we offer in our shop or wish to order by pallet on a regular basis, get in touch with one of our representatives today.
Courier deliveries will be made between 9am – 6pm.
All deliveries must be signed for unless stated in the special instructions when placing the order.
Please open and fully check the contents of your delivery before signing to confirm receipt.
As soon as your goods leave our premises they are tracked until they reach your door!
We partner with DPD for a reason, they offer the most in flexibility and customer service features. Once your goods are picked up from our depot, you will be notified via either the email addressed you provided or by text message on the telephone number you provide during the order process.
On the day of delivery, you will be given a 1-hour delivery slot, this means that you do not need to be in all day like other couriers. Through the DPD app or website you are able to track the route and name of your driver.
Going to be out whilst the delivery is taking place? No Problem, you can either change the delivery address or even request it be delivered to a local pick up point or store. Many stores including Halfords and Sainsburys support DPD pick-ups.

Part-pallet or full pallet deliveries will be despatched through our pallet network or on our own vehicles. You will be notified by email when your delivery is being despatched, but will be unable to track it online. All pallet deliveries will be made between 8am - 6pm on the next working day.
Once your order has been placed a quote for delivery will be generated and you will be contact prior to despatch to make payment.
We aim to process and despatch orders for next business day delivery (subject to stock availability). But please allow 2-3 days for delivery.
Orders placed by 2pm Monday to Friday would normally be delivered next day (Sunday and bank holidays Excluded). Please note pallet deliveries can only be delivered on a working day with Saturdays excluded.
In the event that the product ordered is out of stock, the customer will be contacted with an estimated delivery date.
PLEASE NOTE ORDERS RECEIVED ON A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY, WILL BE PROCESSED ON MONDAY (BANK HOLIDAYS EXCLUDED) FOR THE NEXT AVAILABLE WORKING DAY.
Orders will not be processed during UK public bank holidays. Orders will be processed on the first working day back.

If you have received damaged or defective products, we apologise in advance. Please follow the guidelines below:

Packaging Supplies will arrange collection for any damaged or defective goods, however in the event that you miss your arranged collection date or time, then the return of the goods will become your responsibility.

Refunds will only be issued if all returned items are unmarked, undamaged and in a new condition with the inner packaging unopened.

Refunds or returns for products that have been custom made or customized in any way will not be accepted unless they have been delivered damaged or defective.
Packaging Supplies will assess all custom-made return claims for damaged or defective products on a case by case basis.

In the late 1970s, two friends and colleagues, Tim Allen and Stewart Middleton saw a gap in the market for a different type of packaging supplier. At the time, other businesses were selling custom made boxes and stocking packaging consumables, but Tim and Stewart wanted to offer more than that. They wanted to give their clients additional services, such as warehouse storage and the ability to have their packaging delivered as and when it was required. Packaging Supplies was established, and the rest is history.
